Description

Overview

The Shure UA844+V is a VHF antenna distribution system designed to expand wireless microphone setups by distributing signals from a single antenna pair to up to five receivers. Operating within the 174 to 216 MHz frequency range, it boosts RF output to compensate for signal loss during distribution, ensuring strong and reliable reception. This system is especially useful for managing multiple Shure QLX-D and ULX-D receivers without the need for separate antennas for each unit.

Its two-tier configuration allows chaining up to five UA844+V units for larger setups, while four DC power outputs provide up to 15 volts and 2.5 amps total to power connected devices. The inclusion of two 12-volt antenna bias outputs supports active antennas, and the BNC connectors maintain isolated RF output paths to preserve signal integrity. The system comes with hardware for both rackmount and front-mount antenna installation, making it adaptable for permanent venues or mobile touring rigs.

Key features
  • Distributes VHF RF signals efficiently to five receivers, reducing the need for multiple antennas and simplifying setup.
  • Boosts RF output to offset signal loss, maintaining strong wireless microphone reception across all connected receivers.
  • Supports two-tier configurations by linking multiple units, enabling expansion for larger wireless systems.
  • Provides four DC power outputs delivering up to 15V and 2.5A total, powering receivers or other compatible devices directly.
  • Includes two 12V antenna bias outputs to support active antennas, enhancing signal quality in challenging environments.
  • Equipped with BNC connectors that ensure isolated RF output paths, preserving signal clarity and reducing interference.
  • Comes with versatile mounting hardware for rackmount or front-mount installation, fitting both fixed and mobile setups.

  • Number of outputs: 5 RF outputs for receivers
  • DC power outputs: 4 outputs, up to 15 volts and 2.5 amps total
  • Antenna bias outputs: 2 outputs at 12 volts for active antennas
  • Connectors: BNC for RF inputs and outputs
  • Configuration: Supports two-tier cascading of up to five units
Connectivity and compatibility

The UA844+V is designed to work seamlessly with Shure QLX-D and ULX-D wireless receivers, making it a natural choice for users invested in these systems. Its BNC connectors provide secure and isolated RF connections, which help maintain signal integrity across multiple receivers. The antenna bias outputs enable the use of active antennas, which can improve reception in environments with challenging RF conditions.

  • Compatible with Shure QLX-D and ULX-D wireless receiver series
  • BNC connectors for reliable RF signal distribution
  • Supports active antennas via 12V bias outputs
Installation and setup

The system includes hardware for both rackmount and front-mount antenna installation, offering flexibility depending on your setup needs. Whether you are installing in a fixed venue or configuring a mobile touring rig, the UA844+V adapts to your environment. Its ability to cascade multiple units allows for scalable expansion without complicating cable management.

  • Rackmount and front-mount hardware included for versatile installation
  • Two-tier cascading supports larger wireless setups without extra antennas
  • Compact design helps reduce cable clutter and simplifies system organization
Ideal uses and environments

This antenna distribution system is well suited to professional sound engineers and event technicians who manage multiple wireless microphones in venues, theaters, houses of worship, or touring productions. It helps consolidate antenna infrastructure, reduce interference, and maintain consistent RF performance across multiple receivers. The UA844+V fits well in setups where space and cable management are critical, and where reliable wireless audio is essential.

Product warranty

We act solely as a reseller. Any product warranty is provided and administered by the manufacturer, not by our store. That means eligibility, coverage, and outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s policy for each brand and model. Before purchasing, we recommend reviewing the warranty terms on the manufacturer’s website or in the product documentation to confirm what is covered and for how long.

If you need warranty service, please file the claim directly with the manufacturer. They may require proof of purchase, the product serial number, original packaging, photos, or basic troubleshooting. Some brands ask you to register the product or obtain a case number before shipping it for repair or replacement. We don’t submit or approve claims, but we can point you to the correct support links and contact details.

Keep your invoice and packaging in a safe place, and report any functional issues to the manufacturer as soon as they appear. If you’re unsure whether a problem is covered, the manufacturer’s support team can confirm next steps and timelines. While we cannot intervene in decisions or outcomes, we’re happy to provide purchase documentation or guidance so you can move through the warranty process smoothly.
