Description

Overview

The Shure ANI4IN-XLR is a 4-channel Dante audio network interface designed to convert analog microphone or line-level signals into digital Dante format for efficient routing over Ethernet networks. It features four 3-pin XLR inputs and supports 24-bit/48 kHz digital conversion, making it suitable for professional audio sources such as microphones and mixers. This unit simplifies installation by using a single Ethernet cable to carry both Dante audio and Power over Ethernet (Class 0), reducing cable clutter and streamlining setup.

Key features
  • Four XLR mic/line inputs that accept a wide range of analog audio sources for flexible connectivity
  • Browser-based control interface allowing precise adjustment of preamp gain, phantom power, mute, polarity, and digital gain on each channel
  • 4-band parametric equalizer on every input to tailor the sound to different environments or audio sources
  • Single Ethernet connection that delivers both Dante audio and Power over Ethernet, simplifying cabling and power management
  • LED indicators provide clear visual feedback on device status and signal presence for easier setup and troubleshooting
  • Compatibility with popular third-party control systems like Crestron and AMX enables seamless integration into complex AV environments
Key specs
  • Channels: 4 analog inputs
  • Input connectors: Four 3-pin XLR
  • Digital conversion: 24-bit/48 kHz
  • Power: Power over Ethernet (Class 0)
  • Control: Browser-based interface with per-channel adjustments
  • Equalizer: 4-band parametric EQ per input

Connectivity and compatibility

This interface connects analog audio sources directly to a Dante-enabled network, making it a strong choice for integrating traditional microphones and mixers into modern digital audio systems. The single Ethernet port handles both audio transmission and power, reducing the need for additional cables or power supplies. Its compatibility with control systems such as Crestron and AMX allows it to fit well in professional AV installations, including conference rooms, broadcast studios, and houses of worship.

Ideal uses and environments

The ANI4IN-XLR is well suited to environments where multiple analog audio sources need to be digitized and routed over a network. It works effectively in conference rooms requiring clear microphone integration, broadcast studios needing reliable audio conversion, and houses of worship where flexible sound shaping is important. Its compact design and networked power delivery make it a practical solution for installations where minimizing cable complexity is a priority.

Product warranty

We act solely as a reseller. Any product warranty is provided and administered by the manufacturer, not by our store. That means eligibility, coverage, and outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s policy for each brand and model. Before purchasing, we recommend reviewing the warranty terms on the manufacturer’s website or in the product documentation to confirm what is covered and for how long.

If you need warranty service, please file the claim directly with the manufacturer. They may require proof of purchase, the product serial number, original packaging, photos, or basic troubleshooting. Some brands ask you to register the product or obtain a case number before shipping it for repair or replacement. We don’t submit or approve claims, but we can point you to the correct support links and contact details.

Keep your invoice and packaging in a safe place, and report any functional issues to the manufacturer as soon as they appear. If you’re unsure whether a problem is covered, the manufacturer’s support team can confirm next steps and timelines. While we cannot intervene in decisions or outcomes, we’re happy to provide purchase documentation or guidance so you can move through the warranty process smoothly.
