Description
Overview
The Shure ANI4IN-BLOCK is a four-channel Dante audio network interface designed to integrate analog microphones or line-level sources into a Dante audio system using Block input connectors. It simplifies installation by combining audio and Power over Ethernet (PoE) through a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. This unit is ideal for environments like corporate conference rooms, lecture halls, houses of worship, and broadcast studios where legacy analog equipment needs to connect seamlessly to modern digital networks.
Key features
- Four Block analog input ports that accept both microphone and line-level signals, providing flexible connectivity options.
- Power over Ethernet support allows audio and power delivery over one cable, reducing clutter and installation complexity.
- Browser-based control interface enables easy adjustment of preamp gain, phantom power, mute, polarity, and a four-band parametric EQ for each channel.
- Channel summing feature lets multiple inputs be combined into a single Dante transmit channel, optimizing network bandwidth and simplifying audio routing.
- Compatibility with popular control platforms such as Crestron and AMX allows for smooth integration into existing AV control systems.
- Clear LED indicators provide real-time feedback on device status and signal presence, aiding quick diagnostics and monitoring.
- Chassis ground screw supports shared grounding schemes, which is essential for reducing noise and interference in large permanent installations.

Connectivity and compatibility
This interface unit connects analog audio sources to a Dante network via four Block input connectors, making it straightforward to bring legacy microphones and line-level devices into a digital audio environment. The single Ethernet port carries both audio and power, simplifying cabling requirements. Integration with control systems like Crestron and AMX ensures that it fits well into professional AV setups, allowing centralized management and automation.
Installation and setup
Installation is streamlined thanks to the PoE capability, which removes the need for an external power supply. The web-based control panel offers intuitive access to all input settings, so adjustments can be made remotely without physical access to the unit. LED indicators provide immediate visual confirmation of device health and signal activity, helping installers verify proper operation quickly. The chassis ground screw supports noise reduction in complex grounding schemes, which is particularly valuable in permanent installations.
Ideal uses and environments
The ANI4IN-BLOCK is well suited to professional environments where analog audio sources must be integrated into a Dante network. It works effectively in corporate meeting rooms, educational lecture halls, houses of worship, and broadcast studios. Its ability to combine multiple inputs into a single Dante channel makes it a strong choice for setups where network bandwidth is limited or where simplified routing is desired. This unit is a practical solution for AV professionals looking to modernize their audio infrastructure while preserving existing analog equipment.

Product warranty
Product warranty
We act solely as a reseller. Any product warranty is provided and administered by the manufacturer, not by our store. That means eligibility, coverage, and outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s policy for each brand and model. Before purchasing, we recommend reviewing the warranty terms on the manufacturer’s website or in the product documentation to confirm what is covered and for how long.
If you need warranty service, please file the claim directly with the manufacturer. They may require proof of purchase, the product serial number, original packaging, photos, or basic troubleshooting. Some brands ask you to register the product or obtain a case number before shipping it for repair or replacement. We don’t submit or approve claims, but we can point you to the correct support links and contact details.
Keep your invoice and packaging in a safe place, and report any functional issues to the manufacturer as soon as they appear. If you’re unsure whether a problem is covered, the manufacturer’s support team can confirm next steps and timelines. While we cannot intervene in decisions or outcomes, we’re happy to provide purchase documentation or guidance so you can move through the warranty process smoothly.
