Shure GLXD16+ Dual-Band Wireless Guitar Pedal System
Description
The Shure GLXD16+-Z3 is a wireless guitar pedal system that gives you the freedom to move on stage while keeping the tone and feel of a wired connection intact. Built for performers who rely on consistent sound night after night, it replaces the traditional cable with a link you can trust.
The system uses dual-band technology that scans both the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz ranges and locks onto the clearest channel available. Even in venues filled with competing wireless gear, it maintains a stable connection so your signal stays strong and dropout-free.
At the heart of the rig is the GLXD6+ pedal receiver, a unit that drops straight onto your pedalboard and powers up with the same 9 V supply you already use. A tuner is built into the receiver, and you can adjust its pitch reference as well as switch between strobe or needle style displays, saving space and setup time.
The GLXD1+ bodypack transmitter pairs quickly with the receiver and connects through the included WA305 guitar cable. It runs on the SB904 rechargeable battery, which delivers as much as 12 hours of performance on a single charge, so even extended rehearsals and double-set gigs are covered.
Switching to a cable mid-show is easy thanks to the quarter-inch true bypass input on the pedal. Indoors, you can roam up to about 100 feet from the receiver; outdoors you still have roughly 65 feet of range, more than enough for wide stages, worship platforms, and teaching studios.
With a flat frequency response that stretches from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, every nuance of your playing is preserved. The metal pedal enclosure and durable transmitter are built to handle life on the road without adding excess weight to your gig bag.
