The Shure MX400SMP is a reliable surface-mount preamp designed for use with Shure's MX405, MX410, and MX415 gooseneck microphones. Ideal for permanent installations in conference rooms, podiums, altars, or lecterns, this preamp ensures seamless microphone integration. It offers a logic-enabled LED input for remote control of microphone status, allowing users to easily monitor mute and on/off functions. The preamp is equipped with a low-cut filter, which reduces frequencies below 150 Hz, and features two rubber isolation rings that minimize vibrations from the mounting surface. With a durable design and easy installation using a 1-inch drilled hole, the MX400SMP provides consistent performance in professional audio environments. It also includes a 5-pin XLR connector and Shure’s CommShield technology to protect against unwanted RF interference, ensuring crystal-clear audio transmission.
