A flat disc diaphragm removes the need for a crossover between 1 and 3 kHz, the range that carries most vocal information, which helps every word sound natural and uncolored.

The loudspeaker presents a 4-ohm load and handles up to 20 watts peak through a simple two-pin block connection. It pairs easily with the Shure MXN-AMP PoE+ multichannel amplifier or another compatible power source. With a frequency response of 120 Hz to 20 kHz, a maximum sound pressure level of 93 dB, and 85 dB sensitivity, the MXP-1W reproduces speech clearly without introducing excess bass energy.

A white finish allows the enclosure to blend into open ceiling grids or exposed architectural spaces. One unit is ideal for a huddle room or small classroom, while multiple speakers can be distributed across a larger boardroom to cover every seat without adding visual clutter.
