Once connected, the system maintains a stable signal out to 300 feet, letting performers move freely across large stages, gym floors, or worship platforms.

The P3RA bodypack receiver is built from an all metal chassis that stands up to nightly use. It runs for about 6 hours on two standard AA batteries. Swapping to the optional Shure SB900 rechargeable pack extends runtime to roughly 7 hours and allows convenient recharging between sets.

Shure includes SE215 earphones that offer deep bass and balanced mids and highs while blocking up to 37 dB of ambient noise. The detachable 46 inch cable with MMCX connectors makes it easy to replace the cord or upgrade to a different cable style without changing the earphones themselves.

Two monitoring modes help each user create a personal mix. Stereo Mode lets the listener place instruments across a left and right field, while MixMode combines two feeds that can be blended on the receiver to taste. A drummer can dial in click and backing tracks, a vocalist can raise their own voice against the band, and a guitarist can keep a rhythm channel in one ear while focusing on lead parts in the other.
