Description

Overview

The APC APDU10350SM is a switched, metered outlet power distribution unit designed for racks housing critical servers, storage, and networking equipment. It supports up to 22.1 kW on a 400 V, 32 A circuit or 17.3 kW on a 415 V, 30 A circuit, providing ample power capacity for demanding data center environments. Its vertical zero-U design fits neatly into standard NetShelter racks, offering 48 versatile outlets that accommodate C13, C15, C19, and C21 plugs without the need for adapters.

With built-in remote management and precise metering, this PDU helps data center managers monitor and control power usage at both the outlet and unit level. Its robust design supports continuous operation in warm environments and includes features that minimize downtime and simplify deployment across global sites.

Key features
  • Remote on/off switching for each outlet enables convenient rebooting or power cycling without physical access to the rack.
  • Outlet-level and unit-level metering with one percent accuracy supports detailed capacity planning and charge-back billing.
  • Power-sharing architecture maintains network management card operation during mains power loss, allowing graceful shutdowns or status updates.
  • Dual Ethernet ports provide options for daisy-chaining multiple PDUs or creating redundant network paths for enhanced reliability.
  • Live-swap network-management card allows replacement without powering down the unit, reducing downtime during maintenance.
  • Rated for continuous full-load operation up to 140 °F, suitable for warmer data center environments.
  • Two sensor ports accept optional temperature and humidity probes for real-time environmental monitoring.
  • Global certifications facilitate deployment in multiple regions, ideal for colocation providers and enterprises with distributed sites.
  • Compact 2.2-inch wide vertical design maximizes rack space while delivering 48 outlets for diverse equipment connections.
  • Alternating input phases along the outlet strip help maintain balanced loads and keep power cords organized.

Connectivity and compatibility

This PDU supports a wide range of rack-mounted equipment through its mixed outlet types, eliminating the need for additional adapters. The dual Ethernet ports enable flexible network configurations, including cascading multiple PDUs or establishing redundant management paths to ensure continuous monitoring and control. Its compatibility with common DCIM platforms and SNMP protocols integrates smoothly into existing data center management systems.

Performance and reliability

Designed for demanding data center conditions, the unit’s power-sharing architecture ensures the network management card remains powered during mains outages, allowing for controlled shutdowns or status reporting. The ability to hot-swap the management card minimizes downtime during upgrades or repairs. Its high operating temperature rating supports deployment in warmer environments without compromising performance or safety.

Ideal uses and environments

This PDU is well suited to data centers and server rooms that require high-density power distribution with precise monitoring and remote management capabilities. It fits particularly well in environments where space is limited but power demands are high, such as colocation facilities, enterprise IT racks, and network closets. The unit’s global certifications and environmental sensor support make it a strong choice for organizations managing distributed infrastructure across multiple regions.

Product warranty

We act solely as a reseller. Any product warranty is provided and administered by the manufacturer, not by our store. That means eligibility, coverage, and outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s policy for each brand and model. Before purchasing, we recommend reviewing the warranty terms on the manufacturer’s website or in the product documentation to confirm what is covered and for how long.

If you need warranty service, please file the claim directly with the manufacturer. They may require proof of purchase, the product serial number, original packaging, photos, or basic troubleshooting. Some brands ask you to register the product or obtain a case number before shipping it for repair or replacement. We don’t submit or approve claims, but we can point you to the correct support links and contact details.

Keep your invoice and packaging in a safe place, and report any functional issues to the manufacturer as soon as they appear. If you’re unsure whether a problem is covered, the manufacturer’s support team can confirm next steps and timelines. While we cannot intervene in decisions or outcomes, we’re happy to provide purchase documentation or guidance so you can move through the warranty process smoothly.
