APC Rack Access Kit, NetBotz, 125 kHz 2 Handle

The APC NBHN125 is a NetBotz rack access kit that replaces standard rack door handles with two access-controlled handles, one for the front door and one for the rear. It gives administrators a simple way to decide who can open a rack and when, using 125 kHz proximity cards at the door or remote commands through EcoStruxure IT software.

This kit fits naturally in data centers, colocation suites, edge computing rooms, or any secure network closet where multiple technicians and service providers may need occasional access. A single NetBotz 750 appliance can supervise as many as twenty-six of these handles, so expanding coverage across many racks is straightforward.

Installation is rack friendly: the controller mounts in only 1U of space, and the handles replace existing ones without major modification. Once in place, the system records every door event, sends alerts if a door is left open, and helps prove compliance with internal or external security policies. Operating limits from 0 to 45 °C and up to 95 percent humidity let it perform reliably in typical IT environments.
