Each end carries a 36 pin SFF-8644 connector, creating an external SAS pathway that can move data at up to 64 Gb/s when connected to a TL-Rx00PES-RP chassis or a QXP-3X8PES adapter card. On other supported QNAP models the link operates at up to 32 Gb/s, still delivering ample bandwidth for backups, media projects, or virtual machine storage.
