Description

Overview

The Bose 815009-0010 is a rough-in kit designed for use with FreeSpace FS2C and DesignMax DM2C-LP ceiling speakers. This six-pack of brackets allows contractors and integrators to establish precise cutout sizes and mounting points during the framing stage, before drywall or acoustic tiles are installed. This approach prevents last-minute adjustments and protects speaker wiring, making it easier to achieve a clean and professional installation.

Ideal for restaurants, retail spaces, offices, and home theaters, the kit supports efficient multi-zone installations by enabling placement and wiring while the ceiling is still open. Once the finish work is complete, the speakers snap into the pre-cut openings, ensuring a consistent and tidy layout throughout the space.

Key features
  • Brackets sized to match the exact footprint of Bose FreeSpace FS2C and DesignMax DM2C-LP ceiling speakers for seamless integration
  • Enables placement and wiring before drywall or ceiling tile installation, reducing installation time and complexity
  • Helps maintain accurate speaker alignment, resulting in a clean and professional finished appearance
  • Suitable for both new construction and renovation projects, providing flexibility for various installation scenarios
  • Includes six brackets per pack, allowing multiple zones to be roughed in simultaneously for larger venues or multi-room setups
Key specs
  • Compatibility: Bose FreeSpace FS2C and DesignMax DM2C-LP ceiling speakers
  • Quantity: 6 rough-in brackets per kit
  • Purpose: Establishes cutout size and mounting points during framing
  • Installation stage: Designed for use before drywall or acoustic tile installation
Installation and setup

These rough-in brackets are installed during the framing phase, allowing you to secure the exact speaker locations and wiring paths before the ceiling is closed up. This method prevents the need for adjustments after drywall or tiles are in place, saving time and reducing the risk of damage to wiring. The speakers then snap into the pre-cut openings, simplifying the final installation step and ensuring a neat, consistent look.

Ideal uses and environments

This kit is well suited to commercial and residential environments where ceiling speakers are integrated into the design early in the construction or renovation process. It works well in restaurants, retail stores, office spaces, and home theaters where multiple speakers need to be installed with precise alignment and minimal disruption. The six-pack format supports projects requiring coverage across multiple zones or rooms.

Product warranty

We act solely as a reseller. Any product warranty is provided and administered by the manufacturer, not by our store. That means eligibility, coverage, and outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s policy for each brand and model. Before purchasing, we recommend reviewing the warranty terms on the manufacturer’s website or in the product documentation to confirm what is covered and for how long.

If you need warranty service, please file the claim directly with the manufacturer. They may require proof of purchase, the product serial number, original packaging, photos, or basic troubleshooting. Some brands ask you to register the product or obtain a case number before shipping it for repair or replacement. We don’t submit or approve claims, but we can point you to the correct support links and contact details.

Keep your invoice and packaging in a safe place, and report any functional issues to the manufacturer as soon as they appear. If you’re unsure whether a problem is covered, the manufacturer’s support team can confirm next steps and timelines. While we cannot intervene in decisions or outcomes, we’re happy to provide purchase documentation or guidance so you can move through the warranty process smoothly.
