NETGEAR AGM732F ProSafe GBIC SFP Ethernet Transceiver Module
- In stock
The NETGEAR AGM732F is a Small Form Factor Pluggable transceiver that adds a fiber uplink to compatible NETGEAR switches without requiring any extra configuration. Built for Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel workloads, it moves data at up to 1.25 Gbps and connects through a standard LC duplex interface.
Installation takes moments. Slide the module into an open SFP slot, attach the LC fiber jumper, and the switch recognizes the link automatically. The corresponding RJ-45 copper port is disabled at the same time, which prevents conflicts and frees that port for another device.
With support for 9 micron single-mode fiber runs up to 10 km, the AGM732F is well suited for scenarios where copper cannot reach. Link distribution switches between buildings, extend a backbone across multiple floors, or connect a file server located in a remote rack without signal loss.
The module meets IEEE 802.3z and SFP Multi-Source Agreement specifications, and its Class 1 laser safety rating aligns with industry health standards. NETGEAR certifies it for models such as GSM7324, GSM7312, GSM7224, and FSM7326P, so compatibility is assured.
Whether you manage a small office, a campus environment, or a branch data center, the AGM732F offers a straightforward and cost-effective path to long-distance Gigabit connectivity.
