NETGEAR GS728TXPv3 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Managed Network Switch
- In stock
The NETGEAR GS728TXP-300NAS is a managed network switch that offers twenty-four Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ support and four SFP+ slots for 10-gigabit fiber uplinks. It is built for offices, retail floors, classrooms, and any site that needs to move data quickly while also powering connected devices through the network cable itself.
Each copper port can deliver up to 29 watts, and the total PoE budget of 190 watts covers a mix of power-hungry Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones without the need for separate power bricks. A non-blocking switching fabric of 128 gigabits per second and a forwarding rate of 95.24 million packets per second keep traffic flowing smoothly, even when every port is busy.
Security and control features are built in. Up to 256 VLANs let you separate guest Wi-Fi from corporate traffic, advanced QoS prioritizes voice or video streams, and automatic DoS prevention adds an extra layer of defense. Layer 2 Plus and Layer 3 Lite capabilities such as static routing help reduce bottlenecks by handling basic routing tasks right on the switch.
Management is flexible. You can configure the switch through a local web interface or manage it from anywhere with the included Netgear Insight cloud subscription, making changes or checking status from a phone, tablet, or browser.
Temperature-controlled fans ramp up only when needed, so the switch runs quietly on a desk or in a rack. Mounting hardware is included for standard racks, and rubber feet let it sit securely on a shelf if rack space is tight.
