In 1982, Para Systems, Inc. was founded in Carrollton, Texas, and introduced the Minuteman line of power protection products. Their goal was to provide reliable solutions to safeguard electronic equipment from power issues. Over the years, Minuteman's product range expanded to include uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), surge protectors, remote power managers, and power distribution units. These products have been used by businesses, schools, hospitals, and homes across the United States, Canada, and Central and South America. Minuteman is a subsidiary of Components Corporation of America, a company with a history dating back to 1916. Today, Minuteman continues to focus on delivering high-quality power protection solutions to meet the needs of various customers.
